About Barbara Schultheis
Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer. When I first photographed, I worked in film, and almost exclusively black and white. I did portraits then, but now I have chosen landscape because of my love of hiking and nautre. Slowly though, I have begun to create some portrait work and am rediscovering my love for it.
