Artist's Description

Where wilderness meets city, bighorn sheep abound in Waterton Canyon, which is close to suburbia. Once in the canyon, suburbia slips away quickly and one is truly in wilderness with lots of sheer rocky cliffs, the Platte River and wildlife, including mountain lions, deer, sheep, bears, rattlesnakes, eagles and hawks. Many of the sheep mothers are very pregnant again and will soon deliver the next generation of sheep babies. Within this canyon the sheep and wildlife are highly protected and absolutely thrive. They are also pretty used to see us humans and are usually stand-offish, but curious as this group of moms and children.
