On the plains, the earth holds many secrets! There are jewels waiting to be discovered--not diamonds though, but much more beautiful jewels that come from ancient oceans that once covered this vast flatland. The sky is big in Colorado due to the high elevation, but on the plains it look huge and is always full of drama. The story told on this day was the arrival of spring, and bursts of both sun and rain! Although we didn't have any precipitation where we were, one could view way out in the distance the drenching of a wide area of plains!

Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
