Gentle giants feeding with their heard of babies and female big horn sheep, are a sight to see. These sheep are pretty used to seeing humans so are not easily frightened! I had to constantly move back with my 300mm because these big guys were so close to me! They were very patient with me and allowed me to photograph them, but always keeping an eye on the females and little ones. I made sure to keep my distance even though there were time that I could have reached and touched one of these regal creatures.
Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
