Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

When you hike in the Rocky Mountains, especially above the timberline, about 12,000 feet above sea level, you never know what nature will throw your way. On this day, we encountered lightening and thunder, a pretty frightening event at this altitude. We thought about turning back, but it seemed like the threat was minimal, so we trudged on. Suddenly, we were enveloped in a thick misty fog, a low cloud as the clouds moved in quickly! We were rain on, but just as quickly as we pulled out our rain gear, the sun came out. This cycle occurred throughout our hike, but toward the end we were treated to a beautiful sunset with a bright rainbow!

Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
