Elk in the fall, in rut and bugling is an amazing site and sound. Usually the male elk are up in arms over all their ladies! They want them to stay put, but somehow the ladies start wondering, much to the male's dismay! In this area of Rocky Mountain National Park, many elk gather, getting ready to mate. There is much excitement in the air and bugling can be heard throughout the park.
Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
