Every year there are more! These wild columbine have made a home in my garden and are thriving! I'm not sure where they came from, but they are most welcome, and as a matter of fact, are highly anticipated and become part of my daily routine of photographing the first flowers to poke their heads out into the spring air. They don't last too long and certainly not long enough for me, but I fully enjoy them while they last!

Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
