Abundant in spring, in the high country of the Rocky Mountains, this little wild clematis is always the first wildflower to bloom and is usually peaking through snow! It is covered in fur, I guess to keep it warm. For me, it is a welcome site when I have seen enough snow and felt enough cold, and felt enough despair! I know it won't be long before it is full blown spring!! I have tons of pictures of these little harbibgers of spring, but this is one of my favorites, taken in State Forest, Colorado.
Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
