My favorite kind of lighting! I find that sun and intense stormy skies give way to dramatic lighting. The atmosphere is electrified, and intense, many times dangerous, especially at this altitude! We were actually coming off of the mountain after a long and difficult hike, when I yelled, "Pull over!" Within seconds, the sun disappeared and the glow on the hillside vanished--then the downpour! Never a dull moment in the high country of the Colorado Rocky Mountains!

Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
