Eventhough I'm frightened of heights, I was determined to get this capture, so I asked my husband if he thought I could safely make it to this rockface and flowers! "Of course you can", so as I scrambled across on my butt, what felt very precipitice and frightening to me, my husband nimbly passed me by and offered me his hand as he snickered! I was happy for the company and help, and I got my pictures! As I photographed these beautiful flowers, the rain began to fall, so I knew it was time to go due to slick rocks, but it was difficult to leave such a lovely place!

Well, I guess it's time to tell about myself! I have always been a photographer/artist, but somehow ended up getting an undergraduate degee in psychology and a masters in teaching curriculum. I have taught middle school language arts for 13 years, as well as digital photography as an elective. Years ago, I attended Bucks County Community College, a well know art and photography school, where some pretty famous photographers had taught. Then I attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC, so I have had some training in photography, but like anything else, unless you are out there making mistakes you will not become a decent photographer.
